CPFO Spotlight

Jeff Rogers

Jeff Rogers, director, Procurement and Supply Chain Management at TriMet, had an unconventional path to his government and finance career. With a background in performing arts, he fell backward into the government finance profession and instantly fell in love with it. He has worked hard over the course of his career and has garnered tremendous experience including budgeting, financial reporting, taxes, banking, investments, debt issuance, procurement, property assessment, capital program management, and more. However, he sought out the CPFO designation which helped him consolidate all of his experience into a knowledge-bank that he can tap into at any time. His career potential is broader and deeper after completing his CPFO journey, and he is excited to bring his years of practical experience, and tangible skillset to the table.
