GFOA Mission Statement / Strategic Plan
The purpose of the Government Finance Officers Association is to promote excellence in state and local government financial management.
GFOA has also adopted a 10 year strategic plan to set priorities and goals for the organization.
The GFOA Executive Board approves a biennial budget. The budget is prepared on a center by center basis and focuses on the goals to be accomplished by the products, programs, and services of the association.
