As a small government, determining the best investment options for your organization can be a challenge. Establishing investment policies and even a border investment philosophy can be critical. This session will focus on the unique challenges and opportunities experienced when investing for small governments by exploring how traditional investment vehicles, such as money market mutual funds, investment pools, capital management trusts, Certificate of Deposits, and commercial paper are best leveraged to emphasize  safety, liquidity, and yield in a small government environment.
