Mini-bonds are a way to finance infrastructure while engaging the community. Denver’s success with its program, as shown through its 2014 issuance selling out in under 20 minutes, has gained attention, but also has provided some important lessons learned for other governments. This session will feature key members of Denver’s finance team discussing what to consider when using this type of instrument and how all governments can take advantage of Denver’s experiences over the years as its mini-bonds program continues to evolve.
