Description:

Managing an organization’s cash can present huge challenges in terms of security and internal controls, especially when considering the many places where cash is handled throughout various departments and facilities. For many governments, developing policies that govern how cash is handled and tracked organization-wide can help to reduce opportunities for fraud and improve organizational efficiency. This session will address the components that are most critical to a sound cash management function, including use of pooled cash, cash flow analysis, cash receipts process, deposit process, and internal controls.
