The City of Pacifica is recruiting for a Financial Services Manager in the Finance Division of the City Manager’s office. Under administrative direction, the Financial Services Manager directs and supervises activities of the Finance Division; participates in City-wide financial activities; performs professional accounting work; participates as a member of the Department’s management team in departmental policy development, administrative planning, and addressing of departmental issues; and performs related work as required.
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in Accounting, Business or Public Administration, and an emphasis in Accounting or Finance. Certified Public Accountant is highly desirable.
Five years of progressively responsible work experience at a professional level, including supervisory responsibilities in accounting or finance administration, preferably in a public agency or government accounting firm.
Licenses: Must possess a valid California Class C driver’s license and have a satisfactory driving record at the time of appointment to the position.
