The Chief Procurement Officer/Compliance Director position is responsible for the management, administration, and supervision of the City’s acquisition programs, including contract compliance. This position is also responsible for assisting with business process improvements and analyzing management services as requested by other departmental representatives and/or the City Manager or his/her designee.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field; a graduate degree in business or public administration or a related field or a JD degree with an emphasis in procurement or contract law is highly preferred. Candidates with applicable certifications, such as CPM, CPPO, CPPB, CPA, and CGFO are encouraged to apply. Five years of progressively responsible experience in finance, accounting, purchasing, local government management or related field; and at least four years of management or supervisory experience is required.
