Plan, direct, manage and oversee the activities and operations of the budget office of the City of Vancouver, including budgeting, forecasting, policy development, and monitoring; manage and oversee the performance management and business intelligence reporting functions. Coordinate assigned activities with other City departments and outside agencies. Provide highly responsible support to the Chief Financial Officer. Selects, plans, prioritizes, assigns, supervise and review the work of staff; coordinate staff training; write performance appraisals; recommend and implement discipline. Responsible for the worker as well as the work. Qualifications: -Six (6) years of related experience in governmental administration and financial planning, including at least four (4) years of complex governmental multi-fund revenue and expenditure forecasting and at least two (2) years of supervisory responsibility. -Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in public administration, finance, economics, or a related field. A Master's degree in public administration or related field is highly desirable.
