GovHR USA is pleased to announce the recruitment of candidates for the full-time position of Finance Director/Treasurer at the Village of Bradley, Illinois.
The Finance Director is appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Village Board, and reports to the Village Administrator. The position serves as financial advisor to the Mayor and Village Board, Village Administrator and Department Heads. Principal position duties include budget preparation, annual audit, financial reporting, accounts payables & receivables, sewer billing (water service is provided by Aqua Illinois). The Director supervises a Sewer Billing Clerk and shares oversite of other clerical staff’s financial roles in a joint management arrangement.
Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work will be considered.
The starting salary range is $92K-$105K. Appointment salary is DOQ. A comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental insurance (also available to dependents), life insurance, and membership in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF). The Village offers paid vacation, personal days, holidays, sick leave, and an annual merit review.
