Todd Bond began his career in 2001 with Polk County Board of County Commissioners as Administrative Services Manager for the Transportation Division.  In 2004, he served as the Fiscal Manager for the Public Works Department, and in February 2006, he served as Senior Budget Analyst.  In October 2006, he was promoted to his current position as Budget Officer.  Mr. Bond’s previous professional experience includes his role as Case Manager and Supervisor of the Child Support Enforcement Section for the State of Florida Department of Revenue.

A native of Indiana, Mr. Bond holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Manchester College.  His professional affiliations include memberships with GFOA and FGFOA.  Mr. Bond spoke at the Florida GFOA in 2011 and was honored to have an article he co-authored, published in the December 2011 issue of Government Finance Review.  Todd has also participated in numerous webinars on the subject of “What is BFO?” and he receives high scores for his clarity and presentation
