Deanne Woodring serves as Managing Director for the Portland Oregon office of Davidson Fixed Income Management. Ms. Woodring is responsible for overseeing the management of the Portland office, including the investment management process, client relations and the strategic direction for investment holdings.

Deanne is recognized nationally for her expertise in public fund investment advisor and the development of a disciplined investment management process used extensively by public entities across the country. She has been promoting and developing a Core/Liquidity investment strategy process for public entities her entire career. Her lead on the implementation of market benchmarks and extensive duration management guidelines has improved the returns of public fund investors. This disciplined investment management process of utilizing fixed income benchmarks has evolved into the primary investment methodology used by many public entities today.

She participates in the GFOA, serving as advisor on the Treasury and Investment Management Committee and is currently a GFOA trainer.  She is actively involved in customized educational programs for public investment officers to empower them with the knowledge to improve their investment management process.  

Ms. Woodring graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and earned a Masters of Business degree from the University of Washington. She holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA- 1989) through the CFA Institute and is a member of the Portland Society of Security Analysts. She also holds Series 7, 63, 24, 65 and 3 licenses from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Deanne became a Licensed Investment Advisor with the SEC in 1995.
