Budgeting for Outcomes: A novel approach to budgeting that starts with the results citizens want and focuses not on how to cut 10 or 15 percent from the budget, but on how to maximize the results produced with the remaining 85 to 90 percent.

 

Price of Government: Taxes, fees, and charges paid by residents and business as a percentage of aggregate personal income. Learn how to calculate the Price of Government.  

 

Results: Outcomes, or future conditions the government wants to achieve. Distinct from costs, activities, programs, or organizations.
