These principles, in turn, are accompanied by almost 90 points of focus that offer guidance on their application. This interactive Internet training session combines lecture and exercises to help participants gain a practical understanding of the newly amended COSO guidance.
To provide participants with a solid basic understanding of the five essential components of a comprehensive framework of internal control, as well as the principles and related points of focus that underlie them, and how all of these elements work together to provide reasonable assurance that internal control is effective.
