Lisa Bracken is a Finance Professional with over 10 years of solid budget expertise and experience. She holds a Master’s degree of Public Administration from Georgia State University-Andrew Young School of Policy Studies and a Bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business. She is currently the Executive Director of Budget Services for the Atlanta Public School system, which has an operating budget of $705 million dollars and over 100 learning sites including 86 Title I Schools. She has previous experience with the Fulton County School system, as the Director of Budgets, overseeing, developing, managing and monitoring the budgets of a 1.2 billion dollar school system with over 12,000 employees and 96,000 students. Lisa was a presenter at the 2014 Georgia Education Leadership Institute Conference on Charter System Innovations and Flexibility; she was also a speaker at the 2014 and 2015 ASBO International Conference. Lisa is a leader and visionary in new strategic initiatives and process refinements to support growth and maximize benefit of finite resources. She continually seeks process improvements to create value for her organization. She currently resides in the Atlanta metro area with her family.
