The encore program will take place from 1:00 to 5:00 pm (Eastern) on December 5, 2019, December 17, 2019, and January 16, 2020.* Our panel of expert presenters will discuss a myriad of important new developments, including in-depth discussions of GASB's new implementation guidance on fiduciary activities and leases; new GASB guidance on issuer accounting for conduit debt; and an audit update. Four CPE credits are available for the training.

* Please note that the January 16 encore presentation will take place from 12:00 to 4:00 pm (Eastern).

Make a day of it and schedule an event around the program!

GFOA's GAAP Update web-stream event is an affordable and efficient way to bring high quality training to your members. We offer a revenue-sharing program, through which your organization will earn a percentage of your site's net revenue based on the total number of paid participants. This will help offset any out-of-pocket expenses, such as facility and/or equipment rental or food/refreshments, which are not reimbursed. There are no direct costs to your organization for hosting a viewing site for your members to participate in the program together. Sign up for the date that best fits your schedule. The revenue sharing program is open to state associations and government entities, but is not open to private-sector organizations.

To sign up as a host viewing site, contact Barb Mollo. Can't host? Please share this information with your members, who may want to host their own viewing event.

Do you have multiple staff viewing the training? Submit the group of registrations together for even more savings! If you have more than 100 people to sign up, contact Barb Mollo. (Please note that group discounts cannot be applied to registrations made online through GFOA's e-store. To include additional participants, please e-mail an Excel sheet to training@gfoa.org that includes name, title, organization, and e-mail address for each registrant. To download an Excel template, go to the date of the program listing on GFOA's training schedule page.)
