New Kent County is accepting applications for an Assistant Director of Financial Services. This is an exempt financial and administrative position responsible for comprehensive County financial and budgetary operations. The Assistant Director of Financial Services performs complex, technical, professional and administrative work with regard to financial and budgetary activities of the County. A degree in business, accounting, finance or related field is required. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred. The position requires at least seven (7) years of experience in financial and budgetary accounting. Salary will be dependent upon qualifications, with a complete benefit package.
