We promote, protect and improve the lifelong health of individuals and communities in Adams, Arapahoe and Douglas Counties through the effective use of data, evidence-based prevention strategies, leadership, advocacy, partnerships and the pursuit of health equity. What you will do: We are currently seeking a dynamic leader who will perform executive level duties under the direction of the Deputy Director. The Director, Administration and Finance performs advanced management and administrative duties for the accounting, finance, facilities, vital records and purchasing departments across Tri-County Health Department. The position acts as the Chief Financial Officer for Tri-County Health Department and regularly communicates Tri-County financials to the Board of Health.

Requirements you will need: Must have proven leadership abilities with strong interpersonal skills. A Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in finance, accounting, business administration, public administration or other related field is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required. We desire, strong progressive experience with project management, strategic planning, quality improvement and evaluation methods, budget development and monitoring and information assurance, HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley, FASB, GAAP, GASB and other regulatory compliance.

The salary range for this position is $89,000 – $110,000 When offering positions, we base all salary quotes on skills, education, and experience of the candidate and consider internal equity and budget requirements.
