John M. Huber, CFA
John joined the firm in 2013 to lead Prudent Man Advisors’ asset management business and investment process. He is responsible for portfolio management and directs the Advisor’s research and trading efforts. John is a proven investment leader with over 20 years of experience managing institutional cash, fixed income and balanced mandates.
From 2004 to 2012, John served as Chief Investment Officer and Senior Managing Director at RBC Global Asset Management U.S., a subsidiary of the Royal Bank of Canada. As leader of the fixed income investment team, John determined business strategy and directed the portfolio management process, research, trading and risk management efforts. Prior to RBC, John was a founding professional of Galliard Capital Management, a subsidiary of Wells Fargo Corporation. He was a Principal of Galliard and a Senior Portfolio Manager responsible for fixed income for various public, non-profit and corporate organizations.
John received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Iowa and earned an MBA in Finance from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder and a member of the CFA Society of Minnesota.
