FDTA: GFOA Urges Members to Weigh In
On August 22, a consortium of seven federal agencies released the first of two Proposed Rules related to the Financial Data Transparency Act (FDTA). GFOA has created an Action Center for members to submit comments. The deadline is October 21.

Sherry Walker
Sherry Walker, CPA, CPFO, serves as assistant director of accounting for Broward County, Florida. Recently, she completed the Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO) program, driven by her passion for public finance and desire to deepen her knowledge.
