Glenys R. Salas

Glenys Salas has been working as a government finance officer for nearly 7 years. She started her government career in the City of Saco, Maine, about 20 minutes south of Portland, ME, and most recently took the position of Finance Director in the Town of Newtown, CT. Prior to her tenure in government finance, Glenys worked as a data analytics professional in the marketing departments of consumer packaged goods companies like Unilever and at an agency in mid-town Manhattan. Glenys used her years in marketing and data to build new communication and data analytics tools in the public finance space that have significantly improved the political climate around budget and financial reporting, while still supporting the needs of best-in-class government services. When not at work, Glenys enjoys spending time with her husband and two small children enjoying the great outdoors.
