The city of Fort Worth established the Fort Worth Lab (FWLab) in 2023 to reframe its approach to budgeting, with a greater focus on research and data analytics. City leaders know it will take several budget cycles for this new approach to take root, but the city is about 18 months into its Rethinking Budgeting journey. This webinar, part two in a two-part series, will feature staff from Fort Worth to provide a deep dive into the why, how, and what of the FWLab and share tips on how to overcome some common challenges related to implementing a more strategic approach to budgeting.
