Kate Davis is the Budget Process Manager for the King County Office of Performance, Strategy, and Budget. In this role, she helps prepare the people, processes, and systems to develop the County’s $16 billion biennial budget. Kate has developed data and visual management systems that help teams quickly identify bottlenecks and collaboratively solve problems. As a project manager, Kate has led initiatives to promote efficiency, quality, and employee well-being. Through her leadership and coaching, Kate has helped foster an environment of continuous improvement where team members are encouraged and empowered to surface and solve problems. Kate holds a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Washington and a bachelor’s degree from Oberlin College. She lives in Seattle with her husband, two sons, and two cats.
