Irma Ashworth
Finance Director, City of Mesa, AZ
Irma has over twenty-five years of governmental accounting experience. She started her career in Public Accounting focusing on Government and Not For Profit clients. Irma joined the City of Mesa as Finance Director in 2013 and in that capacity, she is responsible for the daily management and oversight of the Finance Department. Irma hold a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University, Chico, California. She is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants and Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). Irma currently serves a member of the GFOA’s Accounting, Auditing and Financial Reporting Committee (AAFRC).
