Sarah Tracey
Acting Director of Public Engagement , County Manager's Office, Arlington County
Sarah Tracey serves as the Acting Director of Public Engagement in the Arlington County Manager’s Office. In this role, she works across County departments to support and strategize intentional engagement efforts to reach members of the community most impacted and least aware of projects and initiatives in the community. She also leads staff trainings on the County’s Public Engagement Guide and how to best use tools and resources to support equitable engagement opportunities. Prior to joining Arlington County, Sarah worked in the nonprofit sector with an emphasis on child care policy and early learning research at the Bipartisan Policy Center and the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. Sarah has a master’s degree in international education from New York University and received her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Washington.
