Alison Wuensch

Alison joined GFOA’s Research and Consulting Center in May 2024, where she assists governments with enhancing their business processes and procuring enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. She is also a staff liaison for GFOA’s Young Professionals Network, which is open to any active GFOA member under 40 years old and encourages and promotes young professionals’ careers in public finance through education, networking, and mentoring opportunities.

Prior to joining GFOA, Alison worked in local government and local government nonprofits in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. She received her BA in International Studies from the University of San Francisco and her MS in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
