Evan Zacharia

Evan Zacharia has worked in public finance since August 2022. During his time with Broward County, Evan has excelled in his role as Investment Finance Coordinator. His job primarily entails managing daily cash balances and overseeing the County’s investment portfolio.

After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida, Evan accepted his Master of Accounting degree from Florida Atlantic University. After graduating, Evan accepted a full-time position as an Assurance Associate with RSM US LLP. He later earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. Evan recently joined the leadership committee for the Young Professionals Network for GFOA to assist young government finance professionals in finding a source that can be used to network with like-minded individuals.

In his free time, Evan likes to read by the pool, play recreational lacrosse with his friends, and spend time with family.
