Speaking Opportunities/Call for Topics
GFOA's 119th Annual Conference will be held in Washington DC from June 29-July 2, 2025.
To submit ideas for the 2025 conference, please complete the form below.
Has your government implemented a best practice? Please consider sharing your case study at the GFOA conference. Complete the form below to let us know about your case study and to be considered for a speaking slot at the conference. Almost all GFOA speaking panels include practitioners who can discuss current trends, best practices, and issues at the state or local government level.
Is there a topic you want to hear about? GFOA staff work to provide a diverse set of topics for the Annual Conference. If you have a suggestion of a topic you want to hear, please let us know. We will do the rest and work to plan an overall session and identify qualified speakers. Please fill out the call for topics form with as much content as you can provide.
Are you an exhibitor or sponsor looking to suggest topics for the GFOA program? Please complete the call for topics form below. GFOA welcomes topic suggestions from exhibitors and sponsors. This is a great way to communicate and highlight success stories of GFOA members who have used your products and services to improve their governments. GFOA's selection process for speakers places a priority on identifying public-sector practitioners as speakers. Each year we rely on our sponsors and exhibitors to help us find new case studies, innovative governments, and subject matter experts who can provide valuable educational content to our members.
