Dawn Donovan

Dawn has more than thirty-five years of experience in municipal finance and is recognized for her expertise and leadership. Deputy Comptroller Bing Morris for the town says that “Dawn’s dedication and service to the public is outstanding.” Her government has consistently received GFOA’s Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting, demonstrating her commitment to high standards. Dawn's contributions extend beyond her community through roles such as past president of the New York State GFOA, former treasurer of the Westchester Municipal Clerks and Finance Officers Association, member of GFOA’s Special Review Committee, and current co-chair of GFOA’s Women’s Public Finance Network’s Mentorship Committee. Respected for her problem-solving abilities and mentorship, Dawn’s leadership has had a meaningful impact on her colleagues and the public finance profession.
