Executive Board Application
Applications for GFOA's executive board will open in November 2024 for the 2025-2028 board term.
About the Board
By serving on GFOA's Executive Board, you'll have the opportunity to put your leadership skills and knowledge of public finance to work to help members continue to build thriving communities. GFOA's Executive Board members serve a three-year term tied to the dates of the GFOA annual conference (June 2025-June 2028). Board members are expected to participate in all meetings including three (3) on-site meetings per year plus GFOA's committee meetings. Meetings are typically held in March, May/June (at GFOA annual conference), and September. GFOA's committee meetings are in January. Locations of meetings vary. GFOA reimburses expenses for individuals to attend board meetings.

President-Elect Application
GFOA will accept applications for the 2025-2026 President-Elect position in December 2024. The President-Elect would then serve as President of GFOA in 2026-2027, and Past-President in 2027-2028. In order to apply for President-Elect, you must currently be a member of the Executive Board or a prior member of the board.
