Mrs. Nichols has 25 years of experience in public finance with the State of Florida, Division of Bond Finance. The Division of Bond Finance is responsible for issuing bonds for the State of Florida, monitoring and maintaining the State’s $20+ billion portfolio of outstanding debt, and advising on State debt management policies. The Division administers bonding programs for the Departments of Education, Transportation, Environmental Protection, and Management Services, as well as borrowings for the State University System, Florida Turnpike System, Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund and the State Comptroller’s consolidated equipment financing program. The Division is also responsible for allocating private activity bond volume cap, maintaining a local government reporting system for bond issues, calculating federal arbitrage rebate liabilities and complying with continuing disclosure requirements for all State bond issues outstanding. During her time at the Division, Mrs. Nichols has served as an Analyst, the Manager of the Bureau of Arbitrage Compliance, and currently as the Deputy Director.
Mrs. Nichols holds a B.S. in Finance and MBA from Florida State University.
