Kimberly (Kim) Lord

Assistant Town Manager Kasia Purciello praises Kim’s commitment, saying, “She truly has the taxpayers' best interests at heart and is a great listener and teacher, helping me grow professionally.” In her two years with the Town of Manchester, Kim has demonstrated dedication to both employees and residents. She played a pivotal role in the merger of services between the Eighth Utilities District and the town, ensuring the financial aspects were handled with precision. Kim has led efforts to revamp the Tax Assessor, Collector’s Office, and Procurement departments, improving efficiency and service delivery. A strong advocate for her staff, she ensures their voices are heard and works collaboratively across departments. Notably, she initiated the town’s first Procurement Summit, titled “Demystifying the Procurement Process,” aimed at supporting local, minority-, and women-owned businesses in understanding and navigating municipal procurement.
