Molly exemplifies the City of Rolling Meadows' motto, "Progress through Participation," through her dedication to collaboration, transparency, and public engagement. She has contributed to initiatives such as encouraging equity and sustainability during the city’s water rate study and supporting property tax stability efforts while involving residents in the budget process. As vice president of GFOA’s Women’s Public Finance Network (WPFN) and a mentor in its Mentorship Program, Molly helps shape future finance professionals. Her colleague Courtney Kouzmanoff noted, "Molly's mentoring mindset, characterized by her willingness to provide guidance and support, is truly admirable." Molly also leads training sessions as a former downstate chapter president for the Illinois GFOA, fostering professional growth within the field. Her colleague Carrie Marckess credits Molly’s encouragement for inspiring her to pursue GFOA’s CPFO designation and a master’s program.
