GFOA has approved over 200 best practice statements that serve as the foundation for financial management practices for all governments to implement. Over five days, expert presenters will share the latest trends, real-world case studies, and practical strategies to strengthen public finance. Sessions will span a wide range of disciplines, including accounting, budgeting, procurement, treasury, capital planning, debt, risk, compensation and benefits, and leadership.

How does your government’s financial management stack up against GFOA’s best practice standards? This forum is your opportunity to benchmark your practices, reinforce your knowledge, and gain actionable insights to elevate financial excellence within your organization.

Each session will feature presentations on key elements of GFOA’s best practice statements, a case study showing how the best practice was implemented, and an interactive exercise that provides you an opportunity to conduct a self-assessment of your own practices and benchmark your results against other GFOA member peers.
