Ann Shaffer

Ann Shaffer has worked for the La Porte County Public Library since 2013, is Finance Professional II, and is the Treasurer of the Board of Trustees since 2023. Having a department that supports the LPCP's mission of being the center of community life with a focus on reading, lifelong learning, and public involvement with planned budgeting, and strong internal controls is a source of pride. Being part of the community has been a vital part of Ann's career by helping area churches and non-profit organizations learn basic bookkeeping skills, which provide the tools for their financial stability. Ann received her Accounting Degree from Kent State University.
