Abbey Chapman

Abbey Chapman is a financial analyst for the City of Rock Hill, South Carolina. Abbey started at the City as an intern in the Finance department and upon graduation from college was hired on as an accountant, then moved to a financial analyst position. Abbey received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance in 2022 from Limestone University where she was also a member of the Women’s Volleyball Team. In 2023 she obtained her Master of Business Administration from Limestone University and is currently working toward obtaining her designation as a Certified Government Finance Officer from GFOA-SC as well as her CPA license.

Abbey’s role at the City includes assisting in the development of a two-year balanced budget, tracking health insurance costs, developing capital project funding schedules, and various annual reporting items. Abbey is involved with GFOA through the Women’s Public Finance Network (WPFN), the GFOA WPFN Mentorship Program, and is on the Leadership Committee for the Young Professionals Network.
