Jennifer Davis

Jennifer Davis is the Assistant Finance Director for the City of Lawrenceville. She oversees the Customer Service and Accounts Payable departments.

Previously, Jennifer spent almost 8 years with the City of Peachtree Corners, most recently as the Deputy Finance Director, handling day to day operations, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly financials, budget preparation, and annual audits. Her other roles included Administrative Assistant, Deputy Court Clerk, Deputy City Clerk, Elections, and Senior Accountant.

Jennifer is a Certified Public Finance Officer. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Georgia. She completed the Certificate in Public Financial Management from Center for State & Local Finance at Georgia State University in 2020.

Jennifer is the current Vice Chair of the GFOA LGBTQIA+ Caucus and joined the task force to help start the new Caucus. She enjoys volunteering at Junior Achievements Discovery Center Gwinnett that teaches middle school students how to budget and learn personal finance.
