Frank Dipaolo

Frank DiPaolo is the Chief Financial Officer for the City of Dania Beach where he is responsible for accounting and financial reporting, annual budget, debt, investments, utility billing, procurement, and information technology. Prior to this position, Frank was the Finance Director at the City of Lighthouse Point, where he supervised all functions of the Finance Department as well as risk management and employee benefits. Frank had a previous stint at the City of Dania Beach where he held the title of Controller and supervised all accounting and financial reporting functions. He also served as the Project Manager for a City-wide ERP system implementation.

Frank received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida with a Major in Finance and Minor in Economics. Frank received a Master of Accounting from Nova Southeastern University and has been a Florida Licensed CPA since 2009. Frank is also a Society of Human Resources (SHRM) Certified Professional. Frank is currently Immediate Past President of the FGFOA. He has held numerous FGFOA leadership roles and has served multiple years on the board of the South Florida Chapter of FGFOA.

Frank is a seasoned finance and government administrator with considerable experience in all areas of government finance. Frank prides himself on his ability to foster cross-departmental collaboration and success, working closely with Human Resources on the pay plan, collective bargaining, risk management, and employee benefits. Frank is also responsible for implementation of the Information Technology Master Plan and multi-year investments.
