Jason Friess

Jason Friess has been the debt manager for Arlington County, Virginia since 2009. In this role, Jason is responsible for the issuance and administration of municipal debt, continuing disclosure compliance, capital planning, and adherence to the County's debt and financial policies, He also oversees Arlington County's capital and operating funding of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) and serves as Secretary / Treasurer of the Arlington County Industrial Development Authority.

Mr. Friess holds a B.A. in Economics from Hampden-Sydney College, and an M.B.A. from the University of Miami. He serves as a member of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Debt Committee.
