Anna Henthorn

Anna is the Accounting Director for the City of Scottsdale. She has been serving the residents of Scottsdale since 1997. Anna oversees the accounting, payroll, and accounts payable departments. She is responsible for the City’s Annual Comprehensive Finance Report and other audited compliance reports, as well as managing the city’s investment portfolio, developing and assessing the city’s internal controls, and developing strategic goals and long-term planning for the department.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting, a master’s degree in business management, and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2004. Anna currently serves as a board member for the GFOA of Arizona and is also serving on the GFOA CORBA standing committee.
