Kewina Hibbert

Kewina Hibbert was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica graduating from Merl Grove High School before moving to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She also graduated from Plantation High School in Plantation, Florida. She moved to Orlando, Florida, to attend the University of Central Florida (UCF) receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management from the UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management and her Master of Business Administration degree with a specialty in International Business from the Florida International University (FIU).
Kewina is passionate about community engagement and outreach, employee development, community service, leadership development, and mentorship. In the past, she has served in the roles of a Peer Mentor with the Peer Outreach Mentoring Program (POMP) at UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management, a Board Member for the UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management Alumni Chapter, a Finance Committee Member and Membership Chair for the National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA) Mid-Florida Chapter, a Membership and Leadership Committee Member for the Florida Government Finance Officers Association (FGFOA), and the Treasurer and President/Chairperson for the Orange County African American Employee Network (OCAAEN).
Kewina began her career with Orange County Government nearly 10 years ago starting in the Office of Management & Budget (OMB)as an Analyst and Sr. Analyst for multiple departments, divisions, and offices, before transferring to the Citizens Commission for Children Division (CCC)as a Sr. Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator. She is currently a Business Unit Financial Advisor for the Planning Environmental and Development Services (PEDS) Department at Orange County Government and serves as the Professional Development Committee Co-Chair with OCAAEN, an employee resource group (ERG) at Orange County Government.
She is a wife, mom to three athletic boys, and a devoted member of the Center of Deliverance Church in Edgewater, Florida.
