Ramiro Inguanzo
Deputy Village Manager / Human Resources Director, Bal Harbour Village, Florida
Ramiro J. Inguanzo is the Deputy City Manager and Human Resources Director for Bal Harbour Village, Florida where he assists in the day-to-day management and operations of this coastal community in Miami-Dade County. He served as the President of the Miami-Dade County / City Management Association (MDCCMA), the professional association of city managers in Miami-Dade County from 2019-2021. Previously, he worked for the City of Miami Beach as the Chief of Staff and Director of Human Resources/Labor Relations from 2001-2012. Prior to his work in local government, he was the Senior Advisor to the College President and Assistant Dean of Students at Miami Dade College, the largest and most diverse institution of higher education in the U.S. where he oversaw government and community relations. He has been an Adjunct Professor at Miami Dade College since 2005 teaching courses in government and the U.S. Constitution.
Ramiro is a graduate of Florida State University (FSU) earning a Bachelor's degree in Political Science/Communication and a Master's degree in Public Administration. While at FSU, he was inducted into the FSU Gold Key Hall of Fame. Since 2015, he has served as a Board Member of the Student Affairs Development Council and in 2021 he was appointed to the FSU Alumni Association National Board of Directors. Ramiro also serves as a board member of the Local Government Hispanic Network; Miami-Dade County Neat Streets Miami; Miami-Dade County Public Schools Secure Our Future Advisory Committee; and board member and Chairman of the Archbishop Edward A. McCarthy High School Board of Directors.
