Jason Greene

Jason D. Greene, CGFO, CFE, CPFIM has over two decades of local and special district governmental experience in South Florida and currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the City of Miami Beach.
Prior to joining the City of Miami Beach, Jason worked for several years as a consulting engineer on large infrastructure improvement programs primarily with the Miami-Dade County Water and Sewer Department. While working on these programs shifted from engineering to program controls, budgeting, and cost estimating. Served for 16+ years after being brought in-house by the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority and “switched sides” from Engineering to Finance, holding positions of Controller and finally Financial Controls & Budget Manager. He also worked in the Town of Surfside from 2019 through 2022 lastly as Assistant Town Manager/CFO.
