Korrie Johnson

Korrie is the Assistant Finance Director for the City of Fridley, which is a suburb of 29,000 just north of Minneapolis. Korrie graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.S. in Accounting. Korrie has over 20 years of experience in government finance at the municipal level. She has also worked as an auditor and accountant in the private sector. In 2022 she attended the GFOA leadership academy in Charleston and is a current member of the TIM Committee.

Korrie’s work experience includes capital investment planning, leading the annual audit, cash flow management, utility rate analysis, budgeting and investing. She has been involved with various committees through her work such as wellness, recruiting for diversity, continuous improvement, mentorship, and employee recognition. She is married, has two daughters and a dog named Daisy who is very spoiled. Her hobbies include reading, hiking, and backpack camping.
