Katie Little
Director, Member Strategy
Katie Little is currently Director of Member Strategy at GFOA. Here, her focus is on the member experience and developing strategy for growth, retention, and engagement.
Prior to joining GFOA, Katie held Director of Marketing & Communication positions at other leading international associations - the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology and the American Association of Orthodontists. She oversaw both internal (member) and external (public) communications & marketing at both. While at AACE, she led the organization to transform their brand and member engagement strategies to create a better audience experience and improved results. At AAO, she re-strategized many programs to optimize them for the modern age - including AAO's $8 million annual consumer marketing program – with award winning results.
Before joining the association world in 2017, Katie worked for NBC/TEGNA Media (formerly Gannett), specializing in the area of digital marketing. During her career in the media, Katie helped 100s of companies nationwide (as well as TEGNA media properties) to develop and execute digital audience strategies that worked for them. Some of her favorite campaigns included the Olympics and Sunday Night Football on NBC.
Katie received her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri, with St. Louis being her hometown. Katie currently lives in Houston, TX.
