Kevin has helped over 200 different cities and counties improve performance and deliver results across the United States and Canada. His most recent role has been as an Assistant County Administrator for Pinellas County, Florida, where he oversaw the Department of Administrative Services, Office of Management & Budget, Communications, Construction Services, Pinellas County Economic Development, Visit St. Pete/Clearwater, and the St. Pete/Clearwater International Airport.
Before joining Pinellas County he was the Vice President of Planning & Performance Solutions for Envisio, where he helped local governments implement strategy and track and report performance using a strategic planning SaaS product specifically designed for local government. Prior to that, he was the Regional Vice President for Management Partners, a local government consulting firm. Overseeing all the firm's activities on the east coast, he facilitated many governance and strategic planning projects and managed organizational reviews, financial forecasting, and process improvement projects.
Kevin has more than 33 years of experience in local government. He is recognized as a national expert in local government performance management, long-term financial planning, and strategic communications. He was part of a team that implemented quality management practices in Coral Springs that led to the City being the first local government to earn the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
He served as interim city manager, assistant city manager, and director of community relations in Reno, Nevada; and as director of communications and marketing and budget and strategic planning manager for Coral Springs, Florida.
He is a recognized as a Credentialed manager by ICMA, was named the City-County Communications and Marketing Association’s 2011 Communicator of the Year, and was #25 on ELGL's 2020 Traeger Award list of local government influencers.
