Jennifer Larson

Jennifer Larson has been the Chief Financial Officer at the City of Dubuque, Iowa since March 2019. Previously, she was the Budget Director at the City of Dubuque from August 2006 until February 2019. She is responsible for directing and coordinating all financial activities, which includes the responsibility for financial planning, budgeting, accounting, auditing, debt management, investment of public funds, revenue administration, accounts receivable, accounts payable, customer service and billing, purchasing, contracts, grants, and payroll. She previously worked for Eide Bailly, LLP, in Dubuque where she planned, supervised, and completed government audits of Iowa cities and counties and prepared financial statements for those clients. She has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa.
