Debra Peck Lichtenberg, CPA

Debra Lichtenberg is a Certified Public Accountant, currently serving as the Director of Finance for the City of Livonia. In her current role, Debra serves as Chief Financial Officer for the community of over 92,000 residents and oversees an annual city-wide budget of over $205 million. She has also worked with other communities in Michigan, including the cities of Royal Oak, Grosse Pointe Farms, Westland and Novi.

Debra earned her BBA, with a concentration in accounting, from the University of Michigan and began her career in public accounting as a member of the Plante Moran, PLLC, municipal audit team. She currently serves on the Investment Committee of the Michigan Municipal Risk Management Authority (MMRMA) and the Legislative Committee of the Michigan Government Finance Officers Association (MGFOA).

Debra seeks to communicate complex financial data in direct, streamlined ways to give residents access to timely, transparent and understandable information, while ensuring the elected officials have enough detail to make informed decisions for the community.
