Christian Lopez

Christian Lopez is a proud fourth generation El Pasoan who began his public service career with the City of El Paso as he was pursuing, and has now obtained, his Masters of Public Administration degree with an emphasis in Public Policy & Management at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). Christian has several years of experience in program/project management and community engagement in both the private and nonprofit sectors with organizations such as Destination El Paso, United Way of El Paso County, and the Association of Latino Professionals for America. He stands as a firm advocate that the public serves as a municipality’s #1 resource that needs to replenished and cared for through consistent, diverse, and educational opportunities to collectively push our communities forward.
Christian is happily married and a proud father to a beautiful daughter and soon to be baby boy. He never declines an invitation to play soccer, sand volleyball, to try the new restaurant in town, or to chat about community development initiatives and all things El Paso.
