Lucy Dong

Lucy Dong is the CFO for San Mateo County Flood & Sea Level Rise Resiliency District (OneShoreline). She is highly dedicated and passionate about advancing her career with OneShoreline as a CPA and CPFO. Lucy has supervised OneShoreline’s financial operation and supported the Audit Committee and Board of Directors in overseeing OneShoreline’s finances. She has taken the lead in designing, implementing, and overseeing numerous key cross-organizational and cross-functional projects, including Human Resources, Accounting Systems, Investment and Debt Management, Treasury, Budget, Financial Reporting, Internal Control, External Auditing. and Risk Management.

Lucy graduated from GFOA Leadership Academy in March 2024 and achieved the Professional Certificate in Infrastructure Financial Management from the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia (IPWEA) in November 2022. Before joining the public sector four years ago, Lucy worked for several Fortune 500 and high-tech companies in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Currently a law student at the University of California College of Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings), Lucy is majoring in Climate Justice. She is a member and volunteer of the San Mateo County Bar Association (Barristers Section). Lucy holds an MBA from the University of Central Florida and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Chongqing University.
