Kyle McMann

Fire Chief Kyle McMann has lead the Marion County Fire District, the largest Combination Fire District in the State of Oregon for 6 years. He joined MCFD 1 in 2001 as an Engineer/Paramedic. He has served in several capacities over his MCFD 1 career, including Firefighter, Engineer, Captain, Emergency Medical Services-Operations Captain, Battalion Chief, Finance Chief and Deputy Fire Chief. He also serves as a Task Force Leader for the Marion County Fire Defense Board as well as a Line Safety Officer for the State Fire Marshal's Office State Incident Management Team.

Chief McMann possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Services Administration, a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, and a Master’s Degree in Executive Fire Officer Leadership.

Chief McMann served as IAFF Local 2557 President. A native Oregonian, he lives in Salem and when not working, he enjoys Crossfit, traveling, kayaking, hiking and watching sports.
